ABOUT ADAM

In October of 2000 I set out to walk from Georgia to Maine on the Appalachian Trail.

The beginning of a northbound hike.

My backpack literally weighed almost a hundred pounds.

I sat for a long time at the start of the trail, beside the plaque embedded in a rock beneath a star-filled sky. Twelve days earlier i’d decided i was going to set off to hike the Appalachian Trail. So, I quit my job, moved out of my apartment, and there I was.

Clueless.

Starting that hike nine years ago changed everything for me. I’ve never looked back. It has been one adventure after another. I’m always ready for something new and exciting.

In nine years I’ve walked much of the AT, lived in the ghetto, driven a lobster boat, seen the state where I was born and raised by foot & bicycle, lived in New Mexico, fallen in love with a cowgirl in California, driven across the country roughly 10 times or more, and launched a career as a photographer.

This is the beginning.

I spend my days hiking, backpacking, and seeking out grand adventures- with camera in hand.
