Beneath the Avalon

"On Monday night I was doing some exposures beneath the Avalon Pier.

As some of you may know, the Atlantic Ocean decided to claim my camera as her own that night.

I turned to sneeze and a wave snuck in and took my camera. When I turned back it was gone. Completely gone.

The next wave showed it to me, tauntingly. I dove on it. Stealing my camera back from the sea.

Today I was able to salvage the images from the memory card that was in the camera.

This is the last image on that card. The final photograph I made with my Nikon D300.

I miss my D300.

I hate the Atlantic Ocean…"

With that having been said, I have decided to sell this final image as a limited edition print to raise funds towards a new camera.

This image will be printed on a metallic paper- giving it a vibrant, iridescent depth that adds a wonderful "punch" to the final print. It will only be sold for a short time and is being sold at a reduced price!
